Finding a Solution for Back Pain
Chronic pain lasts for longer than three months and may generate in your nerves. These nerves can be injured due to trauma, previous surgeries, degenerative discs, and other conditions resulting in severe chronic intractable pain in your back and legs.
- Chronic Back Pain
- Pulsing or Radiating Leg Pain
- Pain When Sitting and with Transitional Movements
- Low Back and Leg Pain
- Not a candidate for surgery due to anesthesia or cardiovascular co-morbidities
Targeted Pain Relief
We offer the Freedom™ Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) System that helps relieve chronic intractable pain with placement of an implanted stimulator in the epidural space of the spinal column. The Freedom System utilizes pulsed electrical current to create an energy field that acts on nerves near the spinal column. The energy field generated intercepts the pain signals originating from nerves around the spine from traveling to the brain, functionally blocking the pain signal.
Implanted
Stimulator
The implantable stimulator is intended to block pain signals to the brain, thereby helping to relieve chronic pain.
Transmitter Assembly
(Transmitter + Antenna)
The external transmitter houses the battery and provides power to the antenna, which sends a signal through the skin to the implanted stimulator to help relieve pain.
Wearable
Accessory
Our wearables hold the transmitter assembly. They are designed for comfort and must be worn over clothing.
